Jersey Lavender
Open April to September
The Farm
We have our own little corner of Provence here in Jersey.
The Lavender Farm has been part of the island's life for over 35 years now and is cherished by islanders for its peaceful beauty and its welcoming tearoom.
Lavender is grown, harvested and distilled on the nine acres of land and you will often meet a gardener tending to the plants, a reminder that this is a working farm.
Before you get to the lavender, meander through the beautiful garden which hosts many other herbs, trees and bamboos.
A Discovery Nature Trail can be followed throughout, with a questionnaire to share between adults and children. There is also a great swing to share!
The Distillery
Harvest takes place between the 2nd June and the 17th August, a time of intense activity on the farm.
The distillery becomes the centre of interest with twice daily talk about the distilling, extracting and bottling process.
These talks take place at 11.30am and 3pm and are a must attend to witness first-hand the transformation from plant and flower to essential oil.
Sprigs Café and Shop
The café serves all-day breakfasts, lunches, teas, coffees and a delicious array of homemade cakes.
The shop offers farm-made products and many other original lavender gifts, cards, jewellery, candles and many more items for the home, a great place to stock up on locally made souvenirs.
